Navy Aero 11 Gun Turrets Aircraft Handbook Manual - 1145HD-1

"Handbook of Operation and Service Instructions for Gun Turrets Navy Numbers Aero 11A, Aero 11A-1, Aero 11A-2, Aero 11B", AAF Manual AN 11-45HD-1, 116 pages. This describes the Aero 11 series gun turrets, made by Emerson Electric Manufacturing Company. It is a tail turret that was designed for the Lockheed "Neptune" P2V-2 patrol aircraft. It housed two 20mm aircraft cannons. This manual goes with two others - AN 11-45HD-2 (overhaul) and AN 11-45HD-3 (parts) - please see my other auctions. The manual has 5 chapters: Introduction, Description, Installation, Operation, Service Inspection Maintenance and Lubrication.
